Reflective Supervision Training

The Mulberry Bush’s Reflective Supervision training is designed to support staff with developing their knowledge and skills relating to being a supervisor. The aim of which is to introduce you to the purpose and benefits of developing an effective, psychodynamically informed supervision structure to support a culture of organisational well-being. It has been specifically designed to help you to develop a reflective culture, which focuses on the professional supervision of staff members. We have over 70 years experience in supporting staff teams through thoughtful and high quality supervision structures.

Reflective Practice sits at the heart of our work, and we believe in our model of supervision as it creates a relationship that helps staff feel supported, valued and motivated. If you are working in a school setting and wish to develop your use/understanding of supervision, then this course is ideal for you. Evidence has shown good supervision to have many benefits to meet the needs of your organisation some of these benefits include:

  • Improves Staff wellbeing, leading to reduced sickness.
  • Promotes understanding of those you are working with leading to better outcomes
  • Better staff knowledge and critical analysis skills
  • Provides the ability to move away from crisis management, to planned responses.

This course has been accredited by APPCIOS. Successful completion of the course will allow you to join The Mulberry Bush network of supervisors, and an annual refresher training day.

This training takes place at MB3, our site in Toddington, Gloucestershire, which is the perfect environment to engage in experiential learning, not only on the theory of supervision, but allow you to bring your personal experience with you and consider what you bring to supervisory relationships.

Our supervision training is a two-day residential course and includes a first annual refresher after twelve months. The training takes place at our secluded Third Space site.
