Volunteering with the Mulberry Bush – your questions answered.
How can I volunteer with The Mulberry Bush?
There are loads of exciting ways that you can get involved with either behind the scenes or on-the-day at our events. Whether you fancy cheering on our amazing runners at events like the Oxford Half, pouring the perfect cuppa and helping provide refreshments, holding a bucket collection or if you’d like to support us in the office by helping with mailings etc we’d love to welcome you to the team.
Why should I volunteer?
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, gain experience and skills for your CV and to find out more about our work. Whenever you donate your time to us as a volunteer you’re helping to support our work with those affected by childhood trauma and we can’t thank you enough for this.
How much time will I have to give?
This is totally up to you, we’re very grateful for any support that you can offer as and when you are available so there’s no minimum commitment.
Do I need a DBS check?
Depending on which activities you get involved with, you may need to complete a DBS check, if this is the case we’ll make sure that we let you know in advance.
How do I find out more?
Email our friendly fundraising team at [email protected] and they’ll be very happy to answer any questions and will let you know about any upcoming opportunities.
