We are excited to launch Hands on for The Mulberry Bush – our new fundraising initiative for our 75th Anniversary.

Why not arrange an event with your friends, colleagues and family?! Have some fun whilst raising money in support of The Mulberry Bush to help transform troubled lives together.

You will have your own ideas, whether it is afternoon tea, a picnic in the park, having supper with your friends or walking 7.5miles for our 75th year. If you would like some more ideas take a look at our A-Z of fundraising ideas.

We are here at every stage to ensure that you have everything that you need for your fundraising event so feel free to contact us on [email protected]

Thank you! We always appreciate your support no matter how large or small.

Are you a corporate or school?

Why your support is important and benefits us

Your support means we can reach more people who have experienced severe emotional childhood trauma in their lives’?

We have £250,000 still to raise as part of our £1million house refurbishment project. This will ensure we continue to provide the children with a space where they are able to play, relax, feel safe and trust those around them.

Across the charity, your donations mean we can reach even more vulnerable children, families and communities through:

· Our ever-expanding Outreach and Training programmes for special and mainstream schools

· Provision of therapeutic environments for others who need them.

· Research

· Our consultancy service

· Supporting UK & International therapeutic communities and other child-centred organisations working in childhood trauma

· Leading initiatives to share knowledge, experiences and best practice

Why your support is important and benefits you

You can get together with staff across your company, having fun whilst either taking part in a challenge event or organising your own fundraising initiatives knowing that you are making a difference.

How to fundraise and promote your event.

Set up an online fundraising page

Creating an online fundraising page makes it a lot easier for your friends and family to support your event or challenge or to send the payment for your event. Simply set up a JustGiving page to share with all your supporters and the proceeds will be sent directly to us.

Click here to set up a JustGiving page for your event.

Tell your friends and family and don’t forget to give them a link to your JustGiving page.

Use Social media

Social media platforms allow you to spread the word about your fundraising activities quickly throughout your network.

  • Share your JustGiving page.
  • Like us on Facebook and tag us in your posts.
  • Add it to your Instagram account.
Other ways to spread the word

Sending out invitations, putting up posters and using flyers is another good way of telling everyone about your fundraising.  You can find these in our fundraising pack.

Local shops will sometimes display your posters and you never know they might give you a raffle prize to support your event.

Download our fundraising pack here, or contact us on [email protected] if you need any help or advice.

After your event or challenge.

  • Celebrate and thank your supporters
  • Pay in your money – If you set up a JustGiving page the money comes directly to us. If you fundraised offline then our “how to pay in your money form” will give you further information
