Kristi Langhoff

Kristi is a Professor of Social Work at the University of Sussex and a qualified social worker. She has 16 years’ experience developing and delivering trauma-focused group interventions for survivors of sexual violence and exploitation and has trained widely on trauma-informed approaches to multi-disciplinary practice with adults and children. Her current research is focused on 1) young people’s experiences of extra-familial harm and related child protection responses; 2) creative and participatory research methodology; and 3) trauma-informed practice and system change.
