Pete is also a part of the Department for Education national policy group, utilising the Perryfields preventative offer and system to support mainstream schools across the country.

His role as an experienced and current Ofsted inspector extends to both mainstream, AP and special schools, catering to students across all key stages.

As a headteacher, Pete possesses a specialism in Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, equipping him with a nuanced understanding of the challenges faced by pupils. His passion and commitment to building positive behaviour, relationships, and attitudes is evident in the School Improvement Plan (SIP) work he offers. By focusing on these areas, Pete aims to create an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive academically and socially. His passion for education and deep commitment to both staff and students make him an invaluable leader in the education community.
