SENCO and Teaching Assistant Network
The SENCO and TA Network meets six times per year to share best practice, contribute to professional development and provide reflective support to colleagues.
What is the SENCO and Teaching Assistant Network?
The network provides a chance for SENCOs and TAs to bring individual aspects of the work to a group setting. This model supports SENCOs and TAs through the three core values of The Mulberry Bush School; understanding behaviour as communication, reflective practice approaches and developing collaborative working.
Who will the sessions be lead by?
Sessions will be led by two members of the Outreach Team both with experience of working in schools and the SENCO role. The SENCO and TA Network adds value to the roles and supports schools to value the work of SENCOs and Teaching Assistants.
Where will the sessions be held?
Then initial sessions will be held in person at either St. Mary’s Convent, Wantage or Orchard Meadows Primary School, Oxford. We will be in touch well in advance to confrm the final choice of venue.
