The Mulberry Bush Business Club

Transforming troubled lives together

What is The Mulberry Bush Business Club?

The Mulberry Bush Business Club (MBBC) is a Corporate Membership Club and an incredible way for the business community to come together to help some of the most in need and vulnerable young people in society.

Together we can make a real difference to troubled young lives and give them a better start in life.

It’s a way for you to align your business and brand with an incredible local charity that says to your customers you care and are making a real difference to those that aren’t as lucky as most of us are.

Why get involved?

To build mutually beneficial partnerships where we help you to achieve your CSR, ESG & EDI objectives while you help us to achieve our fundraising goals.

For Oxfordshire businesses to come together to support a brilliant local charity.

For national and international businesses to support a charity spreading their impact nationally and internationally.

To help improve the social mobility of some of the most vulnerable members of our society.

Helps with internal engagement and team-bonding by bringing the workforce together behind a fantastic cause we can all relate to.

To support individuals who haven’t been as fortunate as most of your employees have been.

Helps with B Corp accreditation (an award for companies that are verified to meet high standards of social & environmental performance).

What do you get in return?

By joining The Mulberry Bush Business Club, for a minimum annual amount of £500, you will receive the following fantastic annual benefits. The more you support, the more you receive! PLEASE NOTE: These amounts can be fundraised by staff, paid for by the company or support can also be pro-bono (with a value placed on it):

  • An opportunity to visit our school in Oxfordshire to hear about and see the amazing work our educational and outreach teams do with the kids on site and those in the local community. This will help visitors build a positive and meaningful relationship with The Mulberry Bush charity.
  • Staff motivation talks for your staff to increase staff engagement and explain why this work matters and how it benefits us all.
  • Priority for places in supported challenge events such as the always sold-out Oxford Half Marathon and Blenheim 7k.

Silver level support

This is a tremendous way to reward staff with an educational yet thought provoking and fun session at your work.

The content of this would be specific to your organisation but could be sessions such as “An introduction to emotion coaching”, “The complexities of working in a group”, “Team dynamics” or “Emotional support for children”, for example. Where will the money go?

As a charity, The Mulberry Bush raises funds to enable everyone who needs our help to access our services and expertise. We are transforming the landscape of support available to those who need us, their families and communities. By driving change and extending our reach, we are raising awareness, increasing understanding and establishing higher standards.

Our ultimate aim is to enable every one of those we support – whether directly or indirectly – to make positive change and live their best life. We do this by providing specialist therapeutic services, learning, training and research and by driving widespread adoption of the approaches that we know work best.

How your money helps:

  • Helps us provide a more homely environment at our school, with activities that encourage children to learn, play and build healthy relationships with adults and other children.
  • Helps provide subsidised training, products and services to people and organisations who can’t afford to pay.
  • Helps us develop new training, products and services to reach more children, young people and those who work with them.
  • Helps us to keep learning and research at the heart of everything we do, so we better understand what works, share it and learn from others, improving standards & practice.
