We were so pleased with the children last week when they were all able to
say their targets in the community meeting with good humour. It has taken a
long time for some of our children to accept that they are at the school for
a reason; and one of those reasons is to work on those bits of behaviour
which are not helpful to them or to others. That is why they have targets.
Last week felt like a bit of a break through.
We also celebrated one of the children’s birthday last week and it was great
that we were able to take him out ice skating for that. It was nice to have
all the children back after the weekend and also to acknowledge that two of
the children were part of the very successful family weekend.
