Ride 100 miles for The Mulberry Bush in the world’s greatest festival of cycling
Sunday 4 August 2019
Developed by the Mayor of London and his agencies in 2013, Prudential RideLondon is the world’s greatest festival of cycling. The seventh edition will take place over the weekend of 3-4 August 2019.
While the Mayor and his agencies are the custodians of Prudential RideLondon, the event is managed by the London & Surrey Cycling Partnership (LSCP), a partnership between London Marathon Events Limited (owners and operators of the London Marathon since 1981) and SweetSpot Group Limited (operators of the Tour of Britain).
There is no other closed-road event like it that combines the fun and accessible element of a free family ride in central London with the excitement of watching the world’s best professional cyclists race in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic and Prudential RideLondon Classique.
Taking a cue from the London Marathon , amateur cyclists also participate in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 – a 100-mile challenge on the same closed roads as the professionals, with the added incentive of raising money for good causes. This event takes place on Sunday 4th August and has raised over £53 million for charities since 2013.
To capture it all, the best action is broadcast live on TV in the UK and internationally, to be seen by an audience of millions.
After the inaugural event in 2013, the vision for Prudential RideLondon – to be one of the world’s leading cycling events and a lasting legacy of the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games – has become reality.

The Mulberry Bush
The Mulberry Bush School works with some of the most traumatised and vulnerable primary school age children from all over the UK. With the great patience, reassurance and skilled care provided at this specialised residential school, these children are gradually encouraged to a stage where, possibly for the first time in their lives, they can learn to trust and respect themselves and others, to establish positive human relationships and to begin to learn.
In addition, The Mulberry Bush Outreach works collaboratively with education, social care and health providers to develop outstanding outcomes for vulnerable children across the country. The Mulberry Bush Research is another arm of the charity which initiates ground-breaking research in therapeutic residential and foster care which influences practice both within The Mulberry Bush Organisation and among other providers of care to vulnerable, traumatised children and their families. Last but not least, The International Centre for Therapeutic Care is a global alliance promoting therapeutic child care and trauma-informed practice.
