Four years ago we launched the Rahul Moodgal Prize for Therapeutic Child Care, which is awarded each year to one Foundation Degree student to celebrate their overall contribution to Therapeutic Child Care through the course, with a particular focus on their end of course project.
We are delighted to announce that the winner of this year’s award is Michelle Bassett for her paper “How can children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Attachment Difficulties be supported to integrate into a new child group who all present with challenging behaviours?”. We had a strong shortlist for this year’s prize but collectively felt this paper made the most significant contribution to the field.
Rahul Moodgal is a strong supporter of the school’s work and we are delighted that, again, he has put his name and a prize to this award, which we hope will run for many years to come.
Well done Michelle!
