Who Is The Mulberry Bush Research?
The Mulberry Bush Research Department is headed by Dr. Caryn Onions. Caryn has worked as a child psychotherapist at The Mulberry Bush School since 2004. Before that she worked in the NHS in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and OXPIP (the Oxford Parent Infant Project).
Caryn originally trained as a social worker and has experience in adult mental health and child and family teams. Caryn has a Doctorate in Clinical Practice from the University of Exeter. Her research focused on the school’s work with parents and carers. Caryn is interested in linking research and practice and in therapeutic residential and foster care.
