As a member of the care team the post holder will support the emotional, social and educational growth of severely traumatised children. The care team provide high standards of observation, care and a planned environment in order that children at the School are helped through each day in a manner which ensures the greatest possible meaning, continuity and a healthy emotional containment. Within this structure, the differing individual needs of children can be respected and met, providing positive encouragement and affirmation to the growing sense of self of the child.

Job description and person specification

Please note that applicants are normally expected to attend a mandatory group visit day to the school as part of the recruitment process. Due to the Covid-19 epidemic we will be offering online open sessions and holding socially distanced interview days on our site. Details of this TBC and may need to change if the Covid-19 situation and related government guidance change.
