In light of the current situation and with schools beginning to open again, there will be an increased need for professionals to understand Attachment and how this can impact on children’s behaviour in the coming months.

Ray Burrows and Morwenna Farnan from the Mulberry Bush’s Outreach team will facilitate an online training session on September 16th for anyone who works with children in a classroom setting looking to understand more about attachment styles and understand how this is relevant to children’s learning, behaviour and relationships in school.

The session will run for two hours providing an opportunity for staff to put theory into practice; make use of their own experiences working alongside children as well as sharing these with other professionals. The session draws upon experience from within the Mulberry Bush School which works with children who have experienced severe complex trauma and promotes a reflective culture when working alongside behaviour that challenges us.
